Blue Lagoon Cave : (Max. Depth: 20 metres)

As soon as you enter the blue lagoon take a turn right and keep going into the shallow water until you arrive to the very shallow part close to where there is the ’very shallow exit’ out of the blue lagoon. Do not try to come out of this exit unless you have a boat with very shallow draft and you know the waters well. Drop anchor near this exit.

Enter the water here and if you look at the very right hand corner facing the shallow exit, you will come across a hole in the bottom leading into a small cave full of life and very colourful which leads to the open sea. Have a good look around this little but interesting cave because the odd grouper could be spotted here. Once you are out into the open sea take a right turn and keep following the cliff face. Eventually you will come to a very large cave opening. Take note that this is a very dark cave so a good light is a must. Keep following one of the walls into this cavern and when you come to the very end, you can surface into a very dark but interesting air pocket. The air is usually fresh but it is always recommended not to take the regulator off in these types of air pockets.

Once you go back down to the bottom you can see the light at the opening of the cave, this in itself is an experience. Search around the sea bed for nice looking shells and when you get out in the open, look around the rocks for bream and even the odd octopus. Take a left to return to the boat the same way you came.
